The personal bag that I own is a Swiss bag. Before I even got into the business of selling laptop bags, I had purchased this bag a while ago pretty much blindly. I seemed to have lucked out with this bag, because I enjoy the look of it, and it functions extremely well.
The best feature that stands out to me is the quality of the zippers. The ease in which they slide makes putting my laptop in and out of it very easy, and the zipper never snags or gets caught in annoying places. I give my seal of approval to all Swiss Gear bags.
There is plenty of space for all of my gadgets and there are many little pockets that can hold little things such as small chords, pens, pencils, and whatever else you could think of. The strap design is also very easy to use. It could use some more padding, but this bag wasn’t the most expensive one I could have bought and I actually don’t remember the price of it. The bag flap snap close lock is also engineered very well and I’ve never had problems with it.

While this may seem like a simple task, you’d be surprised at how many people return bags because they haven’t taken the time to pick the right sized bag. Some of them were just unaware of what sized laptop they had and couldn’t find it out. If you are in this situation, you can always measure your laptop from the upper left hand corner of your screen to the bottom right hand corner of your screen. This will be the size of the laptop the bags are referencing to.
If the bag you purchase is too large, your bag will definitely fit into the bag but you will not want to use this bag. When it’s sitting in it’s compartment it can still crash around and this can really cause damage to your laptop if you are not careful. Having the proper snug fit is very important in keeping your laptop completely protected at all times when in the bag.

When looking at buying a laptop bag, there is one important feature that I’d like to discuss with you. That is the shoulder strap of the bag (assuming its that style of bag). You want to make sure you get one with some sort of padding system on it. I’ve used some bags that have really cut into my shoulder when I had a fully packed bag and had to carry it a long ways. Once I purchased a new one it was breath of fresh air to be able to carrying it long distances without it being a huge nuisance. Having the right information before making a purchase is a must!
